Bob's Red Mill Launches a Gluten-Free Resource Page

Bob’s Red Mill has been a presence in the gluten-free community for quite a while. Over the past couple of years they have increased their number of gluten-free products to over 50. Bob’s Red Mill has listened to their customers & have compiled a page with all kinds of useful gluten-free information & resources on it.

The first thing I noticed about the new page is the picture of all of the gluten-free products that Bob’s Red Mill produces. There is a list of the products & a video tour of their gluten-free manufacturing facility. Bob’s Red Mill not only produces only gluten-free products in this facility, but they also test all of the products made here in a separate, gluten-free lab. This ensures that there are no chances for cross-contamination to reach the consumer.

Gluten-free baking information is available on the new page. This information is extremely helpful for newly gluten-free bakers or for those family members that are not gluten-free, but who want to make gluten-free baked goods for their loved ones.

There are links for all kinds of Celiac resources, including the Celiac Disease Foundation and the Gluten Intolerance Group. There are also links for Autism, as many of those with autism follow a gluten-free, casein-free diet.

If you are looking for a restaurant guide or support group, several links are available for your perusal. And last, but not least, there are many gluten-free blogs and recipe sites to round out this wonderful, new site.

Bob’s Red Mill has always rated high in my book. I love their pizza crust mix and have been known to buy it by the case. The Mighty Tasty Hot Cereal is another great product, as are their gluten-free oats, flax seed and flour mixes. I am extremely loyal to companies that go above & beyond to accommodate the gluten-free community. Not only do I choose their products over others, but I will spread the word about their products until I am blue in the face or my fingers fall off (from typing).
