Celiac Awareness Month–May 2013

The NFCA has a lot of great things lined up for Celiac Awareness Month.  Some of those things include events, a tool kit, gluten-free product of the day and more.

Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll find on the Celiac Awareness Month page:

  • 2013 Celiac Awareness Month Toolkit (free download!)
  • Fuel the Family: Blogger Campaign
  • Gluten-Free Product of the Day
  • Celiac Awareness Month Events (including the upcoming free webinar, “Gluten-Free Menu Planning: Budget-Friendly Tips”)

The NFCA is a wonderful resource for those for those with Celiac Disease and/or gluten intolerance.  It doesn’t matter if you are newly diagnosed or have been on the gluten-free diet for a long time, there is something for everyone.  I particularly like the symptom checklist for those who haven’t been diagnosed, but struggle with not feeling well and are looking for answers.

Today’s product of the day is DeBole’s Gluten-Free Multigrain Penne complete with a video recipe on how to make Gluten-Free Penne with Zucchini, Tomatoes and Cream

While navigating the waters of becoming gluten-free, Kim shares her experiences and passes along valuable product reviews in addition to helping other moms of celiac kids develop healthy menus that are kid-friendly and palatable.
