From time to time I like to feature a number of Celiac Disease related stories found throughout the internet which I enjoyed reading. Here are a few that caught my eye over the past week or so:
- How Hurricane Katrina Lead to a New Gluten Free Grain Mix – This a quick yet unlifting story about Hurricane Katrina and a positive effect it had.
- Gluten Free Communion Wafers – To our Christian readers, the Sun-Sentinel tells the story of a man who had to leave his church because he couldn’t participate in communion. It wasn’t until five years later that he discovered gluten free communion wafers.
- Eating Lipstick and Other Fun Ways to Posion Yourself – This is a good post from Celiac Bites which covers the less discussed non-food products that contain gluten.
