Celiac & Gluten-Free Diet Videos by Harris Whole Health

Cheryl Harris is a wealth of information.  She is the person behind Harris Whole Health and has just produced & released a set of Celiac & Gluten-Free videos on YouTube.  The videos are free, with the help & support of the CSA.  I have gotten to know Cheryl through her blog, website, Facebook & Twitter over the past few years, though I have not met her in person, yet.  More about Cheryl:

Cheryl Harris, MPH, RD, LD, CWC, CLC  (or in plain English, Master’s in Public Health, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian, Certified Wellness Coach and Certified Lactation Counselor)

Cheryl Harris (full bio) has a Master’s Degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University.  She has worked as a Registered Dietitian and nutritionist for the past 10 years and is a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CLC) through the Center for Breastfeeding . Cheryl has attended numerous trainings through the Center for Mind Body Medicine in DC and Tai Sophia, which focus on the health of a whole individual.  She also is certified as a Health and Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches.

These videos are great for those newly diagnosed, or for those who need a refresher.  Even those that have followed the gluten-free diet for years can benefit from watching these.  Knowledge is power.

I wanted to share these videos earlier in the week, but I wanted to take the time to watch the videos myself.  The videos are very well done and contain anything & everything you always wanted to know about Celiac Disease & the gluten-free diet.  Not only are these a great resource for patients, but for family, friends and doctors, too.   Cheryl mentions that she can get a DVD copy of the videos for those with Celiac Support groups to show at a meeting.  If you are interested, there is a link on the video page to contact Cheryl.

Please feel free to leave your feedback on the videos below.  Additionally, if you have questions, please leave them in the comment section & I will do my best to answer them or pass them along to Cheryl.  Thank you, Cheryl, for putting together such a great resource!
