I have been enjoying Chebe bread products since the first year I was on the gluten-free diet. They were always reasonably priced and easy to find in stores, including the mainstream grocery stores! The mixes came in bags as opposed to boxes and there were some frozen, pre-made varieties as well, though those were not quite as easy to find.
Now Chebe appears to have gotten a facelift! While the website shows the same packaging, the mixes that I spotted on the shelf in my local health food store the other day showed differently. Check out the Focaccia mix:
This is the only mix I purchased that day, but every mix on the shelf was in a box as opposed to the old bag. I like the look…..clean & fresh!

Some of our favorite Chebe products are:
Focaccia mix – Makes for a great pairing with pasta, or can be used as a base for pizza. I have also split the bread after baking, stuffing with pizza toppings & put back into the oven until the cheese is melted. Jon loves this for a snack the day after we have the Focaccia for dinner.
Bread mix – Love to make buns out of this mix. The buns are great for sandwiches, pulled pork, burgers or sub rolls.
Pizza crust mix – Makes a great pizza with no need to keep special ingredients on-hand. We have often traveled with this mix so that we have options if there are none. That happens less & less these days, though.
Cinnamon roll-ups mix – Super simple to prepare & highly raved about. Check out my review of them here.
One of the best things about the Chebe website is the “Recipes” page. There are many great recipes listed here. There is a simple key that lists which Chebe mix to use in the recipe.
Chebe products can be found in stores across the US or ordered online. The link I placed in the “online” spot is for Amazon.com – the mixes are discounted there, some as low as $15.83/8 mixes (really good deal!) using the “Subscribe & Save” program.
Do you have a favorite Chebe mix? Have you seen the new packaging in stores yet? It appears that Amazon is carrying the new packages.
