Custom Choice Adds Organic Crispy Rice to Lineup

Custom Choice Cereal offers a unique option for those who like to have cereal for breakfast.  There is no concern about trying to find a cereal with ingredients that you prefer because you can create your own.  I had my first experience with Custom Choice Cereal about 2 years ago when I created my very own “Gluten-Free is Life” mix.  Our very own Anne Steib shares her experience with Custom Choice here.

Now Custom Choice has added organic crispy rice to their base choices.  This addition joins 3 other base choices: cinnamon granola, organic corn flakes and organic good morning flakes.  The ingredients in the organic crispy rice are:

Organic brown rice flour, organic evaporated cane juice, sea salt and organic molasses.

I love the simple ingredient list.  No deciphering of complicated names that I can’t pronounce.  Simple.  Once the base is chose, there are mix-ins to consider, which include dried fruit, nuts & seeds and extra base cereal or chocolate chips.  You can add up to 11 ingredients total!  Then, the most fun part of all – naming your cereal and placing your order.

Custom Choice cereal is made in a dedicated gluten-free facility.  The ingredients are tested to check for any potential cross contamination.   While the prices are on the higher side, you have to consider what you are paying for –  high quality ingredients that are made-to-order and a dedicated gluten-free facility.  To see a video of the process, click here.   If you are unsure as to what to put in your cereal, Custom Choice has some favorites on the website to choose from or to inspire you with your own combination.  The “Active Hiker” made up of cinnamon granola, banana chips, natural goji berries, pistachios, organic raisins and sunflower seeds sounds great to me!
