This month’s Delight Gluten-Free is the Winter/Holiday 2011 edition that is chock full of all things holiday. In addition to some great traditional Hanukkah & Christmas recipes, there is also an article about tennis player, Novak Djokovic, men’s health and a gluten-free diet pocket list. Interested in gluten-free tweeting on Twitter? There is a guide for how to get started included in this issue. One of the things I really like about the digital edition is the recipe index in the front. It makes finding the recipe that you are looking for much easier than paging through the entire 100 page magazine. Some of the recipes that stood out are:
- Chocolate chip rugelach
- Pumpkin drop biscuits
- Potato latkes
- Pimento cheese bites
- Homemade salt & vinegar potato chips
- Matzo ball soup
- Goat cheese corn pudding
- Maple banana cream pie
The pictures in the magazine are brilliant and left me wanting to get busy cooking & baking in the kitchen right away. Now for the fun part – Delight Gluten-Free has offered to give one of our lucky readers a free digital copy of the Winter/Holiday 2011 edition! All you have to do is leave a comment here telling us what your favorite gluten-free holiday food is and whether you would need an Apple or Android version of the magazine should you be the winner. *This offer is for a free digital issue of Delight Gluten-Free (Winter/Holiday 2011 issue). Print copies are not being offered for this promotion. This giveaway will run from Thursday, December 7, 2011 through Sunday, December 11, 2011 at midnight EST.
Interested in subscribing to Delight Gluten-Free magazine? You can subscribe to the print copy here and the digital editions are available in the App Store or Android Market once you have downloaded the free magazine app reader.
UPDATE: Thanks to all who entered!! The winner is……

Congrats Rachel!
Rachel Begun says:Potato latkes and donuts are traditional Chanukah celebratory foods. Last year I made gluten free apple spice donuts and everyone loved them, even those who don’t have to eat gluten free. I’m making them again this year!
I would prefer the apple version if I win.
Thank you,
Rachel Begun
