Did you Sign Up for Gluten Free Deals yet?

Late last year, in December, I wrote about a fun, new website that was getting ready to launch called “Gluten Free Deals”.  Modeled after sites like Groupon and Living Social, Gluten Free Deals will offer deals on gluten-free foods 1-3 times per week.

Since the site launched, they have now offered 3 awesome deals!  The first was half off from Innocent Indulgence,  which offers gluten-free, casein-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, and refined-sugar free desserts delivered to your door.  The next deal was $15 for $30 worth of products from Glenny’s Fruit & Nut Bars.  Neither of those past offers is still available, I just wanted to give you an idea of what kinds of things were being offered.

The current offer is $15 for $30 worth of GoPicnic.com gluten-free products.  Receiving 50% off of these gluten-free products really helps make prices a little more reasonable.  This current offer will run for another 5+ days.  While I personally have not tried any of the Go Picnic meals, I have heard many good things about them.  Imagine how easy it would be to travel with these?  Another great idea is to keep on hand to send with your child if they go to spend the night with a friend or family member who is not familiar with the intricacies of the gluten-free diet.  Here is more about Go Picnic:

Opening a GoPicnic meal is like opening a present at Christmas! You’ll be giddy with excitement for all the great things inside. With this week’s Gluten Free Deal, pay $15 for $30 worth of any of GoPicnic’s wide variety of delicious products.

GoPicnic features several ready-to-eat, gluten-free meal options for adults and kids, and the food in GoPicnic’s gluten-free meals is individually packaged with full allergen and manufacturing warnings. Perfect for school lunch, field trips, camping, flights, road trips, sports games, or lunch at work. These yummy GoPicnic meals are sure to turn into empty wrappers and happy tummies. No high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors or colors, no added MSG, and no trans fats, no artificial flavors or colors… there are just too many great things to say about GoPicnic meals, so check out their website for additional greatness and come back to pick up the deal! (Kosher meals, Gluten-Free meals, and Vegetarian meals are available.)

Here is just one example of what a GoPicnic meal contains: The Tuna + Crackers Picnic Meal contains lemon pepper tuna spread, multi-seed crackers, unsweetened applesauce, fruit & nut mix and an organic dark chocolate square. Gluten-free; No artificial colors or flavors; 9g protein, 5g fiber and only 330 calories. And there are 8 other gluten-free meals! Take a Look!

It doesn’t cost anything to receive the deals from Gluten Free Deal.  Simply go here (top of the page) and sign up to receive the emails via email as they come available.  If you don’t wish to receive emails from Gluten Free Deals, you can always check the website frequently, follow Gluten Free Deals on Twitter or “Like” them on Facebook to get the latest information on the current deal.

Thanks for this reminder, Kim! I’m out of Go Picnic stuff and need some things for an upcoming trip. Off to place my order now 😉

  2. Kim says:

You are welcome! I need to get busy & place mine as well!

  3. Joan says:

I have used these while traveling. Really great but need to check on the amount of sodium — some are really high.

  4. Tiffany Janes says:

Good point, Joan! Some of the meals do have a high sodium count just like similar items with and without gluten in them. We too use them mostly for travel because pretty much everything in the meals can get through most airport security – in the U.S. anyway 😉
