Dietary Intervention Treatments for Autism

On Tuesday, November 11 at 7:00 PM in the Stark Learning Center, Room 101, at Wilkes University, Lisa Lewis, author of the best selling Special Diets for Special Kids will be speaking about how a gluten free, casein free diet  (wheat free, dairy free) can help those with neurosensory disorders such as autism, ADHD, ADD, and others.

Special Diets for Special Kids has become, since its 1998 publication, the “bible” for parents following the gluten and casein free diet for their autistic spectrum children. She followed up Special Diets for Special Kids with a second volume of recipes in 2001. Lisa has also written for The Autism and Asperger Digest and Living Without Magazine. This year, Lisa and Karyn Seroussi, published The Encyclopedia of Dietary Interventions for the Treatment of Autism and Related Disorders.
