Do You Need Gluten-Free Bath and Beauty Products?

There seems to be mixed opinions among those in the Celiac community on certain topics.  One of these is the common question of do our bath and beauty products need to be gluten-free?   While seeking out answers, I ran across a recently posted video by Dr. Vikki Petersen talking about bath products that have gluten in them and if you need to avoid them if you are overly sensitive to gluten.

The video is roughly 4 minutes long and has a lot of great information!

Unfortunately the video doesn’t seem to have a definitive answer to this question, but Dr. Vikki Petersen preaches knowing your own body.   How about you?  Do you make an extra effort to avoid bath and body products which contain gluten?

Every expert I’ve met or heard speak on this issue has suggested we need to avoid gluten in items we might ingest, unless we have DH, the rash some people with celiac suffer from. I avoid gluten in lip cosmetics/balms, toothpaste and mouthwash products.
