FREE Shipping Offer from Smart Treat Bakery!

Smart Treat is a gluten-free bakery in North Carolina, whose products I had the pleasure of trying recently. If you have had breads from this bakery before you know they are quite tasty, in addition to being gluten-free. Some items are also vegan and dairy free!

Several people in Atlanta order from the bakery and one of them – a reader actually – told me about it! Presently, the product line is sold at Earthfare stores – the closest of which is in Athens, GA. Other locations are listed here.

Today I’m happy to announce that the Smart Treat Bakery is making a special offer  to my readers. They normally offer FREE shipping on orders of $25 or more. Anyone who mentions my name (Tiffany Janes) when calling or ordering online, will get FREE ground shipping on orders of $15 or more. This offer is good through 9-15-09.

These products need to ship EAST of the Mississippi in order to arrive fresh with ground shipping so keep that in mind before placing an order.  If you have any problems getting the discount to work, please e-mail the bakery through the contact link on the top of their home page – thanks!

I’m looking forward to trying some of the gluten-free treats from Smart Treat as I’ve only had the breads so far. I like the basic Sandwich Bread best, which makes a killer grilled cheese sandwich!  Like most gluten-free breads these need to be heated or toasted for best taste. Those who like denser breads love the Seeded Bread. We like the Onion Caraway Bread with dipping oils!

Special thanks to the folks at Smart Treat Bakery! For those of you who have had the quick breads and treats from there, what should I absolutely try with my next order?
