Gigi’s Gluten-Free Cupcakes

It was just about a year ago when Gigi’s Cupcakes appeared in a strip mall right up the street from our house, but it wasn’t until recently that I learned that Gigi’s offers gluten-free cupcakes on certain days of the week.

Gluten-Free Fridays are now my favorite day of the week!  Gigi’s Cupcakes offers three different gluten-free varieties every Friday.  Simply place your order online for pick-up on Friday.  The three varieties are:

  • White Hot Chocolate
  • Wedding Cake
  • Birthday Surprise

More about Gigi’s Gluten-Free Cupcakes:

Introducing Gluten-Free Fridays

It’s now possible to order Gluten-Free cupcakes online for pickup each Friday at most of our locations.  Varieties include Gluten Free Wedding Cake, Gluten Free Birthday Surprise and Gluten Free White Hot Chocolate, but in some cases our locations have chosen to make an even wider variety of cupcakes gluten free.

An important note about how we bake gluten-free cupcakes:

Despite the fact that we bake and offer cupcakes without gluten, all of our cupcakes are prepared fresh in the same kitchen, allowing for the potential of cross contamination. Our baking equipment comes in contact with products containing gluten; therefore our cupcakes cannot be certified as a Gluten–Free product.

Gigi’s has locations across the US.  Visit the store locator to find the location closest to you.  I just placed an order for pick-up this Friday.  The cupcakes are $3.25/each, which seems comparable in this industry.  Have you tried Gigi’s Cupcakes?

Ha! I had no idea that I had a cupcake shop 😉

  2. Tiff says:

Gigi’s “gluten free” cupcakes are not safe for anyone with Celiac Disease. They are made on equipment that is used to make the wheat based cupcakes in the same area, in a bakery that primarily produces gluten filled goods which means that the wheat flour is in the ventilation system raining down on all products including those that are supposed to be gluten free. So please for heaven’s sake DO NOT EAT GIGI’S “GLUTEN FREE” CUPCAKES IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE CELIAC DISEASE!
