Give-away: Gluten-free Magazine Subscription

Delight gluten-free magazine is a quarterly print publication that is sold at many health food stores, Whole Foods Markets and by subscription. I’m honored to be a regular contributor to the glossy magazine that is focused on helping people enjoy the gluten-free lifestyle. For anyone who’s wondering what I could write in a food magazine (since I rarely create recipes), my primary focus is on gluten-free dining and travel. Additionally, I’m now writing the ‘Ask the Expert’ feature. Or at least, I’m asking respected celiac and gluten-free diet experts the questions our readers want to know!

In the fall issue of the magazine, Shelley Case clears up some gluten-free myths that won’t seem to die no matter what informed people do to squash them. Thank goodness for Shelley’s amazing work! In the holiday issue, Alessio Fasano, MD speaks to ongoing celiac disease treatment research, including what a possible drug might do. The good doctor also discusses many more important issues that affect our community.

For those who are not familiar with Delight gluten free, each issue includes an abundance of gluten-free recipes, many of which are free from more than gluten. I’m always amazed by how many gluten, dairy and soy free recipes are in each issue. Actually, the recipes include several offerings that are free of many major allergens. The recipe index covers the allergens diary, soy, nuts, eggs, corn and rice – and gluten, of course.

At the recent gluten-free vendor fair, Delight gluten free donated several subscriptions for show volunteers and attendees. Later, I realized that some of our readers might enjoy winning a subscription as well. The publisher, Julie Ann Luse, was happy to oblige my request and I’m excited to announce that five of our readers will get their own FREE 1-year subscription to the magazine!

Enter a comment below for your chance to win. Please note that the subscription address must be in one of the lower 48 states. The deadline to enter is midnight EST on October 25th Winners will be announced in this post and the e-mail addresses (of winners only) will be sent directly to Delight gluten free so they can obtain the information needed for the free subscription. will not contact winners directly. Good luck!

Delight gluten free also posts recipes on their website. For the perfect roasted turkey, check out this recipe from Delight gluten free. If it’s already cool where you are, this chicken, vegetables & rice recipe might be worth checking out. Enjoy!

*Special thanks to Delight gluten free for this great offer for our readers!
