Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Events Coming to the Southeast

If you live in the Southeast, you (Or should I say y’all?) are in for a real treat. An amazing event is coming to the cities of Houston, Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh and New Orleans this year.

The events will include product samples from over 50 companies, free lectures from well-known members of the gluten-free community about living gluten and allergen-free, free cooking demonstrations and a free tote bag to carry around samples and purchases.

ECHO Event Solutions is hosting events in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, and New Orleans, LA in the coming months. The events invite attendees to enjoy a day where learning is both fun and delicious. Udi’s Gluten Free, Glutino Food Group, and Enjoy Life Foods are core sponsors for each event.

Each event is open to the community, and it caters to those who avoid multiple allergens, such as gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, grains, etc. Admission is $10 per adult; kids 13 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online. Those who purchase their tickets in advance are automatically entered into a drawing for a gift basket from one of the event’s sponsors.

The events in Charlotte and Atlanta will feature an Allergen Free Zone sponsored by Enjoy Life Foods, where all products will be free of nuts. Companies with Kosher/gluten-free products will also be in attendance at the Atlanta event as this is the first year the event is being held on Sunday.

Sampling of gluten-free/allergen-free foods starts off each event with guest speakers and cooking demonstrations rounding out the day. Products will also be available for sale at special show pricing.

Atlanta, GA ~ May 5, 2013 ~ Gwinnett Center ~ 11 am – 5 pm

Raleigh, NC ~ August 17, 2013 ~ Durham Convention Center 10 am – 4 pm

New Orleans, LA ~ November 2013 Venue TBD
