I tried 5 Guys fries a few weeks ago, and loved them! I must admit, when my daughter has McD fries the smell can be intoxicating, but so far I have not tested it.

I also enjoy Chick-Fil-A fries every once in a while as well.

Tiffany,

I have found while traveling that not all Red Robins are as good as the one I go to. Some have no clue & it makes me very nervous to eat there. I try to avoid RR unless it is the one close to me. I love the food, but can't always trust it. :)

I really must try the 5 Guys fries. I have heard so many good things about them and there is one right up the street!

Kim - that's so great your Red Robin has safe fries. After reading what a gf friendly place it was, I went to the one near us shortly after they opened. Not only did they not have a ded. fryer, no one there knew what gluten was. After I noticed my burger clearly had some leftover bun on it (they messed up the order and just removed the bun!), my remade burger came out long after my husband finished his meal. To apologize the manager brought over a coupon for onion rings of all things. It is so unfortunate that different locations of the same chain vary so wildly in terms of gluten-free service.
