Gluten-Free Health & Beauty: Sebamed Review & Giveaway

The gluten-free lifestyle isn’t just about food, it is about health & beauty products, too.  Sebamed has a line of gluten-free, paraben-free skin care that is affordable and accessible in your local Rite Aid or CVS stores

sebamed

For the 3 million+ Americans with celiac disease, the additional 1.6 million+ Americans who go gluten-free and the 5-10% of Americans with gluten sensitivity, the dermatologist developed skin care brand Sebamed has created a full range of gluten-free skin care suitable for men, women, kids and anyone with skin conditions like sensitive skin, eczema, Rosacea or psoriasis. From indulgent treatments to easy products the whole family can use, these drugstore buys are a no brainer for clean, beautiful skin!

I have had the opportunity of sampling many of the Sebamed products.  The moisturizing cream makes my skin feel fantastic and it has a great scent to it.  The liquid face and body wash has  a subtle scent and feeling while washing my face.  The body lotion feels so luxurious – it goes on silky smooth and doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind.  My arms and legs are still smooth 24 hours later, which is an oddity for me, as I tend to have dry skin.  I have also noticed an improvement in the skin on my hands, which always seems to be dry and cracking.

Sebamed has offered to give one lucky reader a sampling of the products.  All you have to do to enter to win is tell me which product you would most like to try in the comments section below.  Giveaway will run until Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:59 PM EST

*The products mentioned in this blog post were sent to me free of charge for review purposes.  The giveaway prize will be provided courtesy of Sebamed.  The thoughts and opinions shared here are mine and have not been influenced by anyone or anything.

This product line sounds awesome! 56 year old male, severe psoriasis and excema, and after years of medications from topicals to Humira, and doctors who said it couldn’t be my diet…I found out on my own—it was my diet. Glutin primarily. Took it out of my diet and I’m clearing up, better each day. So I’m off to CVS to try these out—-I’d be most interested in the moisterizing cream…although they all sound worthwhile. Thank you.

I would like to try the moisturizing body lotion. I have pretty dry skin and no gf lotions that I’ve used have worked as well as I’d like yet, so I’d love to try this.
