Gluten-Free Living Conference–April 2014

Gluten-Free Living has been a constant in the gluten-free community for almost 20 years.  The magazine’s mission is to help others live a happy and healthy gluten-free life.  In just 6 short months the inaugural Gluten-Free Living Conference will take place in Orlando, Florida.

The three day conference will kick off with a Blogger Conference on April 4, 2014 and be followed by two days full of family activities, guest speakers, workshops and gluten-free food tasting/shopping.  More about the upcoming conference:

The keynote speaker at the Gluten-Free Living Conference will be world-renowned celiac disease expert Dr. Alessio Fasano. A distinguished pediatric gastroenterologist, Fasano is leading the way in celiac disease research and currently heads the Center for Celiac Research at Mass General Hospital in Boston, Mass., which sees both adult and pediatric patients. The Gluten-Free Living Conference will be partnering with the center, which, through ongoing clinical care, education and research is helping health care professionals to recognize celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders and helping patients to better manage their care and symptoms.

The conference will be held April 4-6, 2014 at the Doubletree by Hilton at the entrance to Universal Orlando and is open to the public. Anyone interested in the gluten-free lifestyle is invited to attend. One-day admission to the Gluten-Free Living Conference is $15 if tickets are purchased in advance and $20 at the door. Two-day admission is $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Children ages 3-12 are $5 each day and all children under the age of 3 are free.

Visit the conference website for more information on tickets, hotels, etc.  If you live in the Orlando area, or plan on visiting it over Spring Break, perhaps coordinating with the dates of the conference can be worked out.
