GlutenFreeTravelSite Adds College Reviews & A Call for Submissions

Recently, GlutenFreeTravelSite, a website containing thousands of user-submitted Gluten Free Dining and Travel Reviews, added a section to their website devoted to reviews of colleges and universities, from a gluten free perspective. This Gluten Free College Reviews section is especially helpful to gluten free high school students as they begin their critical college search. This really couldn’t come at a better time for us seeing that Jon is a junior in high school.  It’s a way to get honest feedback on the “gluten free friendliness” of colleges  — straight from a trusted source: other GF students.

If you’re a gluten free college student, I would strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to submit a review of your own college and its gluten free offerings. The goal is to get reviews of as many colleges on GlutenFreeTravelSite as possible so students evaluating different colleges can get peer feedback on the “GF friendliness” of each institution they are considering. Here are the simple steps for submitting a review:

1.) Go to GlutenFreeTravelSite’s Submit Review page

2.) Choose the geographic location where the college is located (from the pull-down menu)
3.) Choose a username and password (this is necessary for submitting a review, but not for searching/reading reviews or otherwise using the site)
4.) Fill out the review form, choosing “College” when prompted for the type of establishment. As a reviewer, you can be as brief or as detailed as you like.

Please spread the word about this important initiative to any other gluten free college students you know and encourage them to submit a review of their own college to GlutenFreeTravelSite’s Gluten Free College Reviews section. Thanks for your support!

  1. Thanks so much for helping us to spread the word about this very important initiative, Kim! And best of luck as you and your son begin the college search process. I’m anxious to hear any feedback you all have when visiting college campuses!
