King Arthur Introduces Gluten-Free Baking Mix

We are big fans of King Arthur Gluten-Free mixes in our house. Jon prefers the pancake mix over just about any other mix out there, so when I was grocery shopping last week, I set out to pick some up. There was no King Arthur Gluten-Free Pancake Mix in stock, but there was a box of King Arthur Gluten-Free All-Purpose Baking Mix.

The mix also happened to be on sale, so I decided to try it for our pancakes. More about the baking mix:

Gluten-free baking gets a big boost, with King Arthur’s newest, most versatile gluten-free mix. From pancakes at breakfast to your favorite casseroles or shortcake for dessert, our all-purpose gf baking mix is quite possibly the best thing to happen in gluten-free, ever.

Contains 20 grams of whole grains per serving, a good source of fiber, calcium and iron. Made in a facility that does not process the top eight allergens.

The label has all sorts of recipes included on it. Making pancakes with this mix is a quick process. Simply add sugar, egg, butter/oil, milk and vanilla. If you need to avoid dairy in addition to gluten, simply use oil in place of butter and a non-dairy milk.The Chocolate Cupcakes look like a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! *It is important to note that the King Arthur Baking Mix is different from the King Arthur Gluten-Free Multi-Purpose Flour.

    The just introduced scone and banana bread mix too, but these mixes are only available online right now. King Arthur has a superior line of gluten-free mixes that I highly recommend.
