Kinnikinnick Launches Soft Bagels

The first gluten-free bagels I ever tried were made by Kinnikinnick back in 2006.  They didn’t taste like the bagels I knew and loved, but there were good.  And safe.  Gluten-free products have come a long way over the past few years and I am thrilled to see Kinnikinnick expanding the bagel line to include three new varieties!

  • Cinnamon
  • Blueberry

More about the bagels:

The new bagels offer a soft chewy texture, better nutritional values, the only blueberry flavor in the gluten free market, vibrant new packaging and now also vegan.

While many gluten free bagels are dense and less than palatable, Kinnikinnick’s new soft bagels are traditionally made by boiling first then baking to ensure a chewy outer crust with a nice soft inside.

Kinnikinnick’s new soft bagel formulations were developed to offer consumers the most appealing combination of taste and texture currently available in the gluten free category. In addition to being gluten free, Kinnikinnick’s new soft bagels are also dairy free, nut free, certified OU Kosher, and vegan making it ideal for those with special dietary needs.

  • Available in Plain, Cinnamon Raisin and Blueberry (made with REAL blueberries).
  • Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free, OU Kosher
  • VEGAN
  • Fortified with 5 vitamins and minerals
  • Zero cholesterol
  • At least SEVEN grams fiber per bagel

The bagels come 4 to a package and are priced at $5.99/package.  They are currently available on the Kinnikinnick website and will be shipping to their distributors over the next few weeks.  Remember that Kinnikinnick offers flat rate shipping for $10, so make sure to stock up on your favorites.

In addition to bagels, Kinnikinnick offers a wide variety of gluten-free products.  I wrote a review of a number of them here for reference.

Do you have a favorite gluten-free bagel?  I look forward to finding and trying these new varieties as soon as I can!
