NFCA Webinar: Dispelling Gluten-Free Labeling and Ingredients Myths

Following the gluten-free diet is a learning process. Some ingredients are cut and dry…gluten-free or not gluten-free. Others aren’t so simple. Things are getting easier now with better labeling practices from large manufacturers and label laws, but we still have a long way to go. To add to the confusion, there are many myths circling around about some of these ingredients.

NFCA is ready to put many rumors about safe and unsafe ingredients in gluten-free products to rest with this webinar. Tricia Thompson will discuss how the United States regulates items such as beer, oats, maltodextrin, beans, nuts, vinegar, and others. Many may be surprised to find new items on their shopping lists after learning how to better understand ingredients labels.
