NFCA Webinar: Understanding the FDA’s Gluten-Free Labeling Rule Part 2: Focusing on Compliance

Last summer the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness ran a webinar on understanding the FDA’s gluten-free labeling rule. This summer they are following that up with a second part titled, “Understanding the FDA’s Gluten-Free Labeling Rule Part 2: Focusing on Compliance”. More about the upcoming webinar:

Join the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) as we conclude our two-part Webinar series breaking down the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) rule on gluten-free labeling. Building on the first Webinar’s explanation of what the rule means for people with celiac disease and other gluten-free consumers, this second Webinar will focus on questions about rule compliance and the consumer’s role in the process. Featuring Suzanne M. Wolcoff, MS, RD, Senior Regulatory Review Officer, Labeling Regulations and Implementation Team, ONLDS/CFSAN/FDA.

The webinar will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM EST/11:00 AM PST. The webinar is free and a computer and working internet connection is the only requirement. Register here and follow the instructions that will be sent to you via email. If you miss the webinar, all webinars are stored on the NFCA website in the webinar archives.
