Panera Bread’s Hidden Menu

Have you heard about Panera Bread’s hidden menu?  Word on the street (and on the Panera Bread website) is that there is a hidden menu that has several additional gluten-free menu items on it.  The menu isn’t labeled as a “gluten-free menu”, but as a “Power” menu.  Coincidentally all of the items on the menu are gluten-free.

The menu offers both breakfast and lunch/dinner options.

Breakfast:

Power Breakfast Egg White Bowl with Roasted Turkey

Power Breakfast Egg White Bowl with Steak

Lunch/Dinner:

Power Mediterranean Chicken Salad

Power Mediterranean Roasted Turkey Salad

Power Chicken Hummus Bowl

Power Steak Lettuce Wraps

I haven’t been in to try the new Hidden Menu items yet, but plan to in the next week.  I received a gift card last month for my birthday to Panera, so now is a great time to use that!  In addition to the menu items on the Hidden Menu, Panera Bread also offers a wide variety of gluten-free menu choices.  I especially enjoy the Chai Tea Latte on a cold rainy or snowy day while catching up on my blogging.

Panera Bread has locations across the US.  As with any restaurant that is not 100% gluten-free, there is a risk of cross-contamination.  In order to lessen that risk, make sure to touch base with the manager-on-duty so that he or she can follow your order and ensure that proper procedures are followed.  I have had a lot of success dining at Panera Bread in the past and look forward to trying some of the new items!

Have you tried any of the Hidden Menu items?
