Pizza Fusion Expands into Arizona

Last week I mentioned a growing restaurant chain named Pizza Fusion, which focuses on organic pizzas and natural foods.   Well it looks like they are continuing their expansion across the United States, this time with their first store opening in Arizona.

According to Biz Journals:

“I was attracted to Pizza Fusion because it represents my values and passions – the Earth, health, nutrition and trying to make the World a better place,” Parks said.

The restaurant’s motto is “Saving the Earth, One Pizza at a Time,” and it aims to be an eco-friendly business.

The chain builds all of its restaurants to LEED certification standards, delivers food in company-owned hybrid cars and offsets its power consumption with the purchase of renewable energy certificates.

In addition to its organic menu, Pizza Fusion offers options for people with special diets. Pizza Fusion recently was recognized by PETA as a top-10 vegan-friendly pizzeria for its variety of menu items, including casein-free soy cheese, breadsticks, brownies and sandwiches. Pizza Fusion also serves gluten-free pizza, brownies, and beer.
