The gluten-free market has exploded over the past few years. When I first began the gluten-free diet early in 2006, there were few options when it came to gluten-free cracker choices. Thinking back I believe the first gluten-free cracker that I tried was made by Mary’s Gone Crackers or Blue Diamond Nut Thins.
I think finding the perfect cracker depends on what you plan on using that cracker for. If you want a cracker to eat straight from the box you may choose a nuttier cracker; a cracker to serve as a vehicle for cheese or various spreads needs to be sturdy and mild enough to combine with the topping of choice; last, but least, a cracker to calm the tummy when it is unsettled. There is such a wide variety of gluten-free crackers that there is sure to be something to please everyone. I love that there are so many to choose from!
