Purely Elizabeth Granola GFCO Product Recall Notice

As I was browsing through my email this morning, I came across some information that I had intended to share in a post with you guys.  The information is about an exciting new product that also happens to be certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO).  I went to the GFCO website to do some reading when I came across some different information that I felt was more important to share today, so the new product information post is scheduled to go live on Monday instead.

The GFCO has issued a “Product Recall Notice” on two of Purely Elizabeth Granola cereals.  The cereals involved are being recalled due to possible unsafe gluten levels.  The GFCO requires that products that carry their certification logo contain 10ppm gluten or less.

Some of us are not troubled at all by gluten.
Our needs are no longer respected by the Gluten police. Some fans of Purely Elizabeth care more about varied seed, nut, oats, and grains alternatives that are delicious and easily prepared …for health conscious busy people.
Her cereals are a WONDERFUL new product on the market …and I miss the beautiful design of the boxes that made the new product stand out on the shelf and get my attention . ps, LOVE the blueberries…sooo tired of cranberries in so many products these days…how about currents and dates?
Thanks for the yummy ‘meal’ cereal choices Elizabeth!!

Hi, I bought Cranberry pecan ancient grain granola+puffs for the first time at Sprouts. I do enjoy the cereal. When I was enjoying my cereal this morning I bit down on something hard, when retrieving the object from my mouth I saw a piece of zip tie. Please be careful when packaging your cereal someone could choke Thank you, just wanted you to be aware.
