Review: Bakery on Main Soft & Chewy Gluten-Free Granola Bars

Bakery on Main has been making gluten-free granola and granola bars for a while now. I received a new product from them yesterday that I had to break open almost immediately – Soft & Chewy Granola Bars.

The new bars come in 3 different varieties – Peanut Butter & Jelly, Apple Cinnamon and Chocolate Almond. I couldn’t decide which bar to eat first. Chocolate definitely won out and I was in heaven. These granola bars are amazing! They remind me of the Nature Valley Chewy Granola bars, but better!!! There were tons of chocolate chips and they really complimented the oats well. The other bars are just as tasty, as a matter of fact, I can’t choose a favorite! The Apple Cinnamon is just as they say, like an apple pie to-go! The PB & J really does remind me of the real thing! What a treat!

Some facts about the new Soft & Chewy Granola Bars:

  • No GMOS
  • No Dairy
  • No Casein
  • No Wheat
  • No Trans Fat
  • No Cholesterol

The bars are made with certified gluten-free oats, amaranth & quinoa for a great source of whole grain. They are also made with flax & chia seeds for a great source of Omega 3 & Omega 6 essential fatty acids. Each bar has between 130 – 140 calories, 3 – 4.5 grams of fat, 3-4 grams of protein & 2 grams of fiber. Each package costs $5.49 and comes with 5 bars. The bars will be available with free shipping on Bakery on Main’s website through the end of November. You can expect to find them in stores starting around April 2011.

While you are over at the Bakery on Main site purchasing your granola bars, check out their gift set for $14.99. This would be a great care package or even holiday gift to surprise your favorite friend or family member who is on the gluten-free diet. Want a coupon for $1.50 off Bakery on Main products? Simply join their “Eat Better Live Better” club! It is that simple. Offer is valid for those who live in the US, Canada and UK (1GBP coupon for the UK).

**The samples were provided to me free of charge and did not influence my opinions on this product. Thank you, Bakery on Main, for the samples and for consistently providing a great product line.

  1. This is exciting news! I love the flavor of the original bars from this line, but don’t care for the texture. I can’t wait to try the softer bars. Thanks for the review, Kim!
