Review: Caribou Coffee Iced Pumpkin Latte

If you are lucky enough to have a Caribou Coffee location close to you, stop what you are doing, after you finish reading this post, and rush right on over to try one of the new fall pumpkin drinks!  I first caught wind about ten day ago about the drinks being available already.  I sent an email that day to Caribou to verify the gluten-free status so I was free to stop the next time I was near my local Caribou.

Hi Kimberly,
Thanks for the email!  We are so glad you are interested in Caribou Coffee and our products!  In regards to your question, all of our drinks are actually Gluten Free.  The only difference with the Pumpkin drinks is that it includes a sauce rather than a syrup, so it does contain milk in it.  Unlike our other syrups, they do not contain milk.
I hope this information is helpful and if you have other questions please let us know!
Sincerely,
Aaron

I was so pleased when I received the email!  I actually planned my errands around a stop a Caribou the next day.

In addition to the Pumpkin Latte, Caribou also has the Pumpkin Which Chocolate Mocha and brand new Pumpkin Chai Latte.

Pumpkin White Chocolate Mocha – Premium white chocolate (or your choice of dark or milk) melted into steamed milk, then combined with our rich espresso and new pumpkin syrup (made with real pumpkin puree!). We top off the drink with whipped cream and white chocolate chips. Happy Fall!

Pumpkin Chai Latte – The newest addition to our fall line of drinks. We blend our chai tea with our new pumpkin syrup, made with real pumpkin puree and then add steamed milk. Happy Fall!

Pumpkin Latte – Our delicious new pumpkin syrup, made with real pumpkin puree, blended with espresso and steamed milk. Happy Fall!

The Pumpkin Latte and Pumpkin Chai Latte can be made into iced versions.  This comes in especially handy if the weather is still hot where you live by allowing you to still catch a glimpse of fall without making yourself even hotter in the heat and humidity.  I opted for the Iced Pumpkin Latte to help motivate me through my errands and it did not disappoint!  The drink was full of pumpkin flavor and spices!  I loved every last sip of it!

  1. Love the post. It is great to know that all their drinks are gluten free! And, as you know, pumpkin is loaded with vitamins and minerals. Since Caribou uses real pumpkin puree, not just artificially flavored sugary syrup, you’re actually getting some health benefits in that latte!

Unfortunately the closest one to me is in Nevada.

  3. Jennifer says:

FYI for those that are also corn-free… I inquired today about the Pumpkin White Chocolate Mocha and was told that the pumpkin syrup contains high fructose corn syrup. 🙁

  4. Alison says:

You said “pumpkin which chocolate” lol. It sounds freaking delicious though! It is teeming with Caribous here; I usually shun these kinds of (I’m guessing) high-cal treats, but I’ll have to try one just once.

Does anyone happen to have the nutritional facts on just the pumpkin flavor?
