Review: Inglorious Monk Bakery Whoopie Pies

We received some pretty awesome treats in the mail earlier this week from Inglorious Monk Bakery…Gluten-Free Whoopie Pies. The whoopie pies come in a wide variety of flavors and shapes, including mini whoopee pies called “Whoopie Bites”. It is nice to see such a unique gluten-free treat show up on our doorstep.

More about Inglorious Monk Bakery:

We offer delicious desserts that are also FREE OF GLUTEN, DAIRY, PEANUT, TREE NUTS, SOY, EGG, GMOs, ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS & COLORS. Our Whoopie Pies, Whoopie Bites, and Whoopie Pie Cakes are delicious while being as healthy & environmentally conscious as possible.

OUR STORYAs a mother of three children with allergies ranging from peanut to dairy, as well as my having allergies & intolerances myself for 30+ years, I know how important it is to have something that meets your dietary needs AND tastes wonderful.  Our family is gluten free, dairy free, soy free, peanut free, egg free and sunflower free.  We also avoid GMOs.  We could never find desserts we could safely eat AND enjoy, unless we made it ourselves!  So Inglorious Monk Bakery was born…

WHAT IF YOU DON’T HAVE ALLERGIES?Lucky you! You will still LOVE our products! Worried that Gluten Free might taste “gross” or “yucky”?  We get it!  Worry not!  We have blind taste tested our whoopie pies and people always chose OUR treats over traditionally made products.  We’ll take that as a compliment!

The different varieties that we sampled include:

  • Lemon
  • Pumpkin
  • Chocolate/Chocolate Chip Whoopie Bites

I got a bite and that was it. Jon devoured these in no time at all and asked for more. That is how you know he likes something. I love the beautiful packaging the cookies were shipped in…perfect for a gift for your favorite gluten-free friend or loved one!

Inglorious Monk Whoopie Pies can be purchased online or in select Colorado retailers.

*The products mentioned in this post were sent to us free of charge for review purposes. The thoughts and opinions shared here are mine and have not been influenced by anyone or anything.
