Oooops! I received these donuts to review the other day and definitely ate the donut without taking a picture. I am such a bad food blogger when I get excited! However bad it may seem, though, it means one thing – the donuts were nothing short of spectacular! I am not a huge donut for breakfast eater, so this was my “snack”. They were conveniently delivered to me after lunch and there was no way I was going to even consider waiting until the morning. Plus, they arrived “room temperature” with the instructions to freeze upon receipt. I didn’t want to have to defrost or heat up, I wanted a true sampling of the donut.

Jon didn’t wait to dig into them either – after he got home from school, he sat down with 2 of them. He simply heated them in the microwave for 15-30 seconds and inhaled. The others disappeared the following day. I think it is safe to say that these new donuts were a huge hit.
At the end of March I got the news that Kinnikinnick was debuting this new flavor and was thrilled when they offered to send samples for us to review. If you asked me what my favorite donut out of all of the flavors that Kinnikinnick currently offers and has offered in the past, I would have to say the Blueberry Glazed, hands down. If you were having second thoughts about ordering these donuts, don’t. Place your order while they have them! The seasonal donuts are only sold online on the Kinnikinnick website or in their retail store. Shipping is a flat rate of $10.00 no matter how much you order, so make sure to stock up on all of your favorites.
