Review: Naked Nuggets

I had the opportunity to sample & review Naked Nuggets over the past couple of weeks. As I have written in the past, I am not a huge fan of convenience foods because they are usually more processed and have ingredients that I like to avoid. This is not the case with Naked Nuggets.

Naked Nuggets are gluten-free, allergen-free, lower in calories & fats and higher in protein than traditional chicken nuggets. So, if that is the case, what is in the Naked Nuggets ?

Ingredients: Naked Nuggets are freshly grilled, all natural white meat chicken (no breading, no fillers, no gluten, no trans fats, and no frying). Our ingredients are simple – Boneless Skinless White Meat Chicken, Potato Starch (to maintain moisture), Salt, and Spices (White Pepper, Celery, Marjoram, Basil, and Garlic Powder).

Simple. Nothing you can’t read or can’t pronounce. I just love products like this! I was concerned at first that my kids might ask why their nuggets looked different, but neither of them did. Hannah gobbled down a whole serving and asked for more; Jon ate a whole bag (remember, he is 14). Even if they hadn’t told me how much they liked these nuggets, I think that we could all agree that these were a hit in our household!

Naked Nuggets are the brainchild of chefs Eric & Bruce Bromberg. Eric & Bruce were faced with the daunting task of feeding Eric’s three children healthy, kid-friendly foods. Anyone with kids knows that this is not an easy task. Eric & Bruce stripped down their kid’s favorite food – chicken nuggets – removing the breading & no longer deep frying – ending with a healthy, protein filled naked chicken nugget that tasted great.

Chickens are from quality responsible antibiotic free farms – 100% all natural, raised without antibiotics or hormones, free to roam, vegetarian fed.

Curious about the chefs? Eric & Bruce Bromberg are the chef-owners of Blue Ribbon Restaurants. This family of 9 restaurants has locations throughout NYC.

Naked Nuggets can be found in many locations across the US or on The Gluten-Free Mall. To keep up on all of the current information from Naked Nuggets, make sure to follow them on Twitter and Facebook.

Naked Nuggets is committed to helping raise a happy, healthy next generation. Want to win some cool prizes from Naked Nuggets?
