Review: Orgran Outback Animals Chocolate Cookies

In April I shared our review of Orgran Outback Animals Vanilla Cookies.  Jon really liked them, but wanted to try the chocolate version.  When I placed an order with Gluten Freely this last time, I chose the chocolate cookies.

In addition to being gluten-free, the chocolate cookies are also vegan and free of soy, nuts, dairy and egg.

INGREDIENTS:

Maize starch, Raw sugar, Brown rice flour, Pea flour, Palm vegetable oil, Rice syrup, Cocoa powder (4%), Psyllium (2%), Raising agent: Sodium bicarbonate, Calcium carbonate, Emulsifier: monoglycerides from vegetable, vegetable gum: Guar, salt, Vanilla.

Jon said that he likes these even better than the vanilla cookies.  I got one measly cookie and it tasted great!  Being a good mom, I let Jon enjoy the rest of the box, which may have lasted more than one serving!  In addition to being sold in this size box, the cookies are also available in single-servings to make packing lunches or snacks easy.

Orgran products are available all over the world!  They can be purchased in many of your local grocery or health food stores or online.
