Review: Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese

Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite stores to browse. They have many gluten-free options and are always adding new things. The most recent time I shopped at Trader Joe’s I found this new, frozen Mac & Cheese

When I was growing up, Stouffer’s Mac & Cheese was one of my favorite treats when time didn’t allow for homemade Mac & Cheese. There was nothing better than the melty brown cheese on top. Since going gluten-free, I haven’t found anything that comes as close as this new Trader Joe’s Mac & Cheese does.

Do you see that cheese?

This Mac & Cheese is very creamy and has a great flavor. The pasta held up well and wasn’t mushy like some gluten-free pastas get when you cook and then bake them. It paired perfectly with sautéed spinach.

The box states the serving size is “about 2” per box, but I would argue that it is feeds 1 to 1.5, depending on what else you serve with it.

If you live close to a Trader Joe’s, put this on your “must try” list!
