Gluten Free Options in Rochester, New York

The Rochester City Newspaper recently shared a large number of gluten free options for people who live or are visiting the Rochester New York area. It turns out it is quite the list!

Piper Restaurant Announces Gluten Free Menu
I just received this news submission, courtesy of out Celiac Disease news submission form, regarding Piper Restaurant.
If you live in the state of Michigan, it looks like Piper Restaurant has recently announced they now offer a gluten free menu in addition to a dairy free menu. If you are in the area, they are located 4 miles west of Holland (Michigan) on Lake Macatawa. Check out their official website (linked above) for additional information.
Illiano’s Ristorante and Pizzeria Now Offers Gluten Free Pizzas
If you are attempting to live gluten free in the Meriden, Connecticut area, one restaurant you may want to check out is Illiano’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, which now stocks gluten free pizza crusts at many of their locations.
According to My Record Journal, it sounds like the owner promises they are make in a gluten free environment and the pizzas are already getting pretty good reviews:
They never match up to the New York City pizzas she remembers savoring as a child, she said, but the gluten-free pepperoni pizza she had just dined on at Illiano’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, 510 W Main St., was delicious, and as close to the real deal as she’s gotten.
“It was nice and chewy and not crumbly, she said.
The nicest part was that she could actually go to a restaurant and eat out instead of having to make it herself for fear of gluten contamination, she said.It’s people like Ferrigno that Illiano’s owner Vincent Scileppi is hoping to get into his restaurants by stocking gluten-free pizza crusts and promising to make pizzas in a gluten-free environment.

Amigos Mexican Cantina Now Offers Gluten Free Menu in Milford, New Hampshire
If in case some of our readers live near Milford, New Hampshire I wanted to pass along the following information.
Apparently the Amigos Mexican Cantina in Milford, which is known for their popular Mexican food, recently introduced a new gluten free menu for customers to help take the guesswork out of deciding what to order. In addition to these dishes, the restaurant also offers gluten-free desserts and beers!
Tilley’s Cafe Has a Gluten Free Menu - Burlington, Virginia
If you live in or near the Burlington, Virginia area, you may want to check out Tilley’s Cafe. According to an email tip from one of our readers, it looks like they do offer a gluten free menu. At first I had trouble finding it, but if you look at their menu page, the stuff with the red diamond are gluten free!

Pizza Works Cooks 2000th Gluten Free Pizza
If you live in the Seattle (Washington) area, you may be familiar with Pizza Watch, who began serving gluten free pizzas back in March of 2007. As of last week, Pizza Watch celebrated the sale of their 2000th gluten free pizza, proving that even small local shops can thrive by offering gluten free products on their menus.
