Friday night meals often include pizza and the day after Thanksgiving is no exception. The only difference will be using some of those Thanksgiving leftovers as toppings instead of just the traditional sauce and cheese.
Leftover Turkey & Roasted Asparagus Pizza
Udi’s pizza crust
1/4 cup pizza sauce
3-4 ounces leftover turkey
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
1/4 – 1/2 cup chopped roasted asparagus
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
Frank’s Red Hot (optional – sprinkle on top before eating)
1. Preheat oven as directed on the Udi’s pizza crust package.
2. Top crust with sauce, asparagus, chicken, mushrooms & cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Check progress & bake until cheese is melted or the crust begins to brown.
3. Slice & enjoy.
If you don’t care for asparagus, adjust the toppings accordingly. Think of the pizza crust as a blank canvas and create your very own leftover masterpiece!
