Tim Horton’s New Summer Drink = Gluten-Free

Tim Horton’s is a big thing here in Columbus, Ohio. They have some pretty phenomenal coffee and offer a number of other gluten-free drinks…lattes, smoothies, cappuccinos and more.

Our gluten-free son, Jon, started working for a local Tim Horton’s a few weeks back. He quickly fell in love with the Orange Tangerine Smoothie and just recently, the brand new drink for summer…Frozen Hot Chocolate.

Of course my first concern was confirming that the new drink is gluten-free. Jon assured me that he makes them and knows exactly what goes into them and they are gluten-free. I trusted him, but wanted to official word from corporate before I shared with you all.

Kim – I just confirmed that the new Frozen Chocolate is gluten free (simple syrup, water, 18 % real cream and chocolate). Let me know if you have additional questions.

Jon says the Frozen Hot Chocolate is spectacular, so if you have a chance to try it, please let us know what you think.
