Tim Horton’s Offers Coconut Macaroons

Today is the day… Tim Horton’s begins offering Gluten-Free Coconut Macaroons today!

The macaroons are individually packaged to avoid potential cross-contamination issues.  I was never a fan of macaroons until I started the gluten-free diet.  I had been missing a lot by skipping the macaroons!  I am now a huge fan and can’t wait to try the Tim Horton’s version this week.

Tim Horton’s does have some other gluten-free options, including smoothies, lattes, cappuccinos, tea, mochas and yogurt.  Locations can be found across the US and Canada.

Tim Horton’s is just one of the nationwide chains jumping on the gluten-free bandwagon.  Dunkin’ Donuts recently added individually wrapped blueberry muffins and donuts to their line-up.  The treats should be nationwide by the end of the year.

Please check back in with us if you have had the opportunity to try the Tim Horton’s or Dunkin’ Donuts gluten-free treats.  We would love to hear your thoughts!
