Wow! I’m the reason Sticks is gluten free! My best friend used to work there and convinced the owner to change soy sauce so I could eat there. I feel special right now, that other celiacs can enjoy their food because of me.

If you go to Impanema Cafe on Grace St. they always have a few things on the menu that are gluten free.
P.F. Chang’s has a Gluten Free Menu. They are very helpful!
Pizza Fusion also has a gluten free Menu.
Champ’s at Stoney Point Fashion Park does not have a gluten free menu but, they have never messed up my meal.
Outback Steak House off of Broad Street has a gluten free menu and they have never messed up my meal unlike the one off of Huegenot and Robious.
Buz and Ned’s BBQ is gluten free friendly.
Strawberry Street Cafe is Gluten Free friendly.
Joes Inn is Gluten free friendly for breakfast. If I go to Joe’s for dinner it is harder to find something GF. I normally get a chicken breast with tomato sauce and a sweet potato.
Good Luck!

If you tell the server at MamaJ’s restaurant on North 1st St., Richmond, VA, that you have gluten allergy, MamaJ will fry your catfish in pure cornmeal in a clean pan with fresh oil! Wonderful place, great prices, well worth going. Among the nicest ambiance and staff iof any Richmond restaurant. Southerners love this food; your Northern friends will go home happy you took them!

Chanello’s (pizza) has pizza dough without gluten. However, there is a possibility for cross-contamination since they make all pizza on the same counters. Just mention to them that you are GF, and they will make every arrangement possible to avoid issues!
