Boston Market is a restaurant chain we used to have in our area, but I don’t believe we have them any longer. However, reader Jane contacted us to see if we had any information about Boston Market and a gluten-free menu.
After some research on this topic, I was able to locate an official allergens page on the Boston Market website. Their allergens list DOES include gluten as one of the allergens, but comes with the following disclaimer:
This list is compiled based on production information provided by Boston Market approved food manufacturers as of the date published. Boston Market does not guarantee that cross-contact with other gluten-containing products or allergens will not occur. We encourage anyone with food sensitivities, allergies, or special dietary needs to check back on a regular basis for up-to-date information.

As always, when dining out gluten-free, do your due diligence and make sure the staff understands your needs. There are very few restaurants that are 100% gluten-free, so cross-contamination is always a risk. If you don’t feel comfortable with what you are hearing from the staff, perhaps it is best to dine elsewhere.

The sweet potatoes have a strusell topping so they are NOT gluten free! I also tested it with my Nima and it comes back as having gluten! I’m so sorry, I know I loved these before finding out I have celiac. The cinnamon apples are gluten free but I’m my area they have disappeared from the menu which is too bad since it was one of the few places I could get a GF dessert option.
