Mo Bay Grill, a Jamaican restaurant in Roseland, Fl offers several gluten free items on their menu. All gluten free items are clearly marked with a GF next to the item.
I am very newly Celiac diagnosed and have so many questions/concerns running through my head. If you go to one of these restaurants, how can you ensure that there will be no cross-contamination? It is scary to me right now… Thanks…
it is a pleasure to see so many restaurants that cater to us celiacs. When I was diagnosed 28 years ago,even my gastroenterologist had no clue where I could buy GF food, Eating in a restaurant was just impossible!!!!

I would not recommend Mellow Mushroom to anyone with celiac disease. They are not trained well enough to know how easily cross contamination occurs. I ate there in June and it has taken me 3 months to recover from contamination that occurred there. I don’t know how long till I’m completely well, but I know I will never eat there again. If you have C.D. I hope you heed this warning.
