I am new to the gluten free world. Yesterday, I went to Vidalia’s in Schaumburg. They do not have a g-free menu, however our waitress was very put-out by the questions I needed to ask regarding ingredients and basically caused my husband and I to feel so uncomfortable by this that we finished our wine and just decided to eat elsewhere. The good news is we went to Bread and Butter in Itasca and were treated with care and consideration. They have gluten free pasta and much more. They will work with you (happily) to meet your needs. Excellent food, wines desserts, AND SERVICE! We will pass on the good word, how about you? Gluten -free people are getting to be more in number every day. I am in the fortunate few that also have the available income to eat out regularly. So COME ON RESTAURANT OWNERS/MANAGERS, do not lose this client base. There is a goldmine to be had. Get on the bandwagon.
