Are you a Celiac who is thinking about visiting a Red Robin restaurant in the near future? After being in contact with the restaurant, I was able to collect the following information. I’ve also read somewhere to be careful with fries, as this may vary per location:
Below is a current list of gluten-free food item options from the Red Robin menu; however this changes regularly so you’ll want to check out the Red Robin gluten-free menu on our website. Red Robin will do its best to customize orders to meet dietary needs. Hopefully, there’s something on this list you’ll enjoy.
- Steak Fries
- Cheese
Produce Items:
- Guacamole
- Salsa
- Black Beans
- Turkey Breast Meat
- Beef patty
- Lettuce Wrap Burger
- Carnitas meat
- Grilled Chicken Breast Fillet
- Egg
- Turkey patty
- Grilled Salmon
- Rice
- Side of cooked vegetables
Current Entrees Revised:
- Cobb Salad
- Crispy Chicken Salad, substitute crispy chicken with grilled chicken
- Fajita Pollo, minus corn strips.
General Information:
- Red Robin will customize orders to meet dietary needs.
- Salad Dressings and mayo do contain vinegar in the ingredients list. The vinegar is not malt vinegar.
- The Red Robin Seasoning is sprinkled on the beef patty and steak fries after cooking. The Seasoning does not contain wheat, barley, oat, or rye glutens. It may contain naturally occurring glutamates. These items can be ordered without Red Robin Seasoning. Please inform your server if you desire no seasoning.
- Corn strips may be fried in a common fryer.
- Steak fries are fried in a designated fryer.
Please inform your server so that he/she can help meet your dietary needs.

This is very irresponsible of you to post! I too use their Gluten Free menu, but it clearly states on it that it is only good for 30 days. They change their suppliers and menu items often so what you have posted here may not be valid after the first of the month. Shame on you for not just telling people how to get the updated menu (it’s on http://www.redrobin.com under the FAQ link in the Contact Us section).

Hi JJ!
Thanks for expressing your concerns. When it comes to posting gluten free information online, there is naturally some risk involved at all times because things changes and information gets outdated. That is why each post is dated and it specifically states to make sure your server is aware of your dietary needs.
With that said, if you look in the second paragraph of this post, you’ll see that a link was actually included to the PDF file that Red Robin maintains on their website.

JJ,
Lighten up! Kyle has a website to help people. Why don’t you say thank you, and then express your concerns and suggestions in a polite manner.
Anyone with celiac disease should know by now to double check everything on their own. At least Kyle has let people know that there are even ANY options at a Red Robin.
Sorry, just had to defend a fellow blogger here! It’s a lot of work that we do! 🙂

Hi Alison!
It is great to have an internet celebrity like yourself stopping by our site.
Yes, it definitely is a LOT of work, and I try to add disclaimers to posts whenever possible, but double checking things should be a standard habit. 🙂
Keep up the good work at Sure Foods Living and my wife and I will continue to read and enjoy it.
